As a kid I really looked forward to The Love Boat and now it’s sort of reborn as

I believe many episodes are available on YouTube. What is amazing was how many actors had parts on the Love Boat and went on to huge roles elsewhere a few years later.

Plus established stars in their twilight years, Milton Berle, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Lorne Greene, Vincent Price.

The 1st series episodes on you-tube look like they've been upscaled, this is fine for the pool bikini scenes.
Even back in the 1950s, American TV had an eye on the future when they shot some TV comedies and dramas on 35mm rather than on the cheaper and poor quality video
