Im sure some PH'ers were discussing a Basingstoke meet, I seem to recall Don (Boxster) and some of the Trevor drivers chatting about it. So if its happening where and when? or I might scoot down the M4 and meet some of the London Village exiles at Reading services.

Well I thought of heading over to BTaP via the A4. Something like

Basingstoke
Newbury
Tot Hill Services
Hungerford

Then either onto the Motorway...or on to Marlborough and then up to Swindon.

Unfortunately I have an appointment that morning that doesn't finish until 12. I haven't cancelled this yet...and don't really want to.

So the earliest I could leave B'stoke is 1:00pm. That would be Tot Hill Services on the A34 at about 1:30pm.

I suspect this isn't early enough for most...I know Keith (whatever) is going and may be happy with the time or want to go earlier. We would arrive at BTaP at about 3:00pm for a spot of tyre-kicking before it gets dark.

I know a good few will be there MUCH earlier though.

How about this....If you want to go earlier..go earlier...but I will leave the Basingstoke Leisure Centre (usual car park at 1:00pm if anyone want to join me). Would arrive Tot Hill for an Optimax fill up and catching any others at about 1:30pm.

How about that then?

Alex - I'm up for whatever but need to get two new rear tyres fitted (in Newbury) first thing Sat morning.

Ideal plan for me - Leave Basingstoke (or wherever we meet) around 11:00, get to Swindon 12:30. Pub for lunch/glop over nice cars in the carpark, watch some Premiership footy on a big screen in the pub, back for a few rides in cars, hotel bar for a swift one/use hotel facilities like pool/sauna etc, get ready for BTaP, dane drink and be merry.

But I'll fit with whatever works of course

Hey guys.

scottsters pub lunch in Swindon idea sounds good.

Although not going to the evening I am up for meeting for pub lunch and afternoon blasts with victims in the passenger seat (roads permitting (weather doesn't seem to matter!!)).

Cheers Don, I will probabally go a bit earlier with scottster as I like the sound of a few rides when we get to swindon. (not keen on watching footie in a pub tho!! I would rather watch paint dry) if we get delayed Tot hill @ 1.30 would be good.

The footy is optional mate but a good thrash down the M4 isn't!

I'll leave it for Alex to say where and when (as he knows the area better than me) but I'll be with him.

Dave, Its looking like the M4 services at 1.45 wih some london lot or B-stoke at 1 or the Tot hill services at 1.30. Im actually not too fussed about not driving there in convoy I'll only get left behind by your new yella peril anyway..... and besides I drive like enough of a tw*t on my own, let alone in a group!!

Daz I'm sure you've got my mobile no (if not e-mail me) and I'll tell ya where we are on Sat when we are in Swindonia land
