Someone in our area is being evicted from their council house due to ongoing ASB and drug dealing.

I was curious as to whether or not the council etc have a duty to rehome them after this? Are they effectively blacklisted from future local authority housing?

From memory, there are parents, one son aged 21 (currently in nick) and one daughter aged approximately 17 or 18.

I'll just add that I don't care and am incredibly happy these scumbags are finally being given the boot - I'm just curious as to how it all works.

It depends - many factors including whether the ASB was “intentional” or can be blamed on addiction, heath issues, etc and whether children/dependants will be put at risk. Drug dealing likely to put them in the intentionally homeless bucket, but nothing is automatically cut and dry.
