Does this seem like a fair price???
Discussion
Hi
Looking for a short roof s2 in either cobalt blue or gunmetal,
just found this at Christopher Neils in Northwich
http://www.christopherneil.co.uk/
2002/02 Lotus Elise 1.8 Gunmetal Grey with Grey cloth Trim 35,300miles 12months mot 6 tax 12 warranty
£16,950
short roof, black wheels, aircon alarm immob etc
Does it seem like a fair price???
I would normally buy private but i am struggling to find the right car.
I am not flexible on the color so its making my search a bit harder.
The air con would be nice but not essential.
The milage seems a bit high, do you think this is a problem i will be adding about 4000 a year.
Its at the top end of my budget, do you think there's much of a deal to be had as i have cash and no part ex??
Thanks fo your help

Seems like a typical dealer price. I'm sure you could get that car privately for £15,250 but if you wont budge on colour etc then you're slightly restricted.
Mileage is high for an Elise but if you're only doing 4k a year it'll soon be back to something people would consider more acceptable.
It's a buyer market at the moment so I'd try Christopher Neils with a cheeky opening offer along the lines of £15,800
