1 previous owner car... with 6 previous owners

Just got myself a new to me car which a dealer advertised as 1 previous owner, it's low mileage and was on at over the book value, but for mileage, condition and low owners I was happy to pay a premium as I intend to keep the car.

V5 arrives and my 1 owner car has 6 owners, it's only 9 years old so I'd say that's high owners.

What would you do ?

I feel like the dealer owes me some money here ?

Grab a screenshot and talk to them.

Did you not have a look at the previous V5 or see an HPI check?

I bought remote from a dealer who confirmed it was HPI clear (dealer has excellent ratings) so I only saw the "green slip"

Anyway, sounds like a genuine mistake, the dealer has apologised and offered me compensation so more than happy.

Dealer has dealt with it like a true gent

He was probably worried you'd want to return it as it wasn't as described.
