Hello collective mind hive and Welshbeef if you are out there.

I used to buy car air fresheners from my LPG supplier in Birmingham who used to sell Magic Trees for £1 each. I have now run out.

Anybody got any air freshener recommendations and particularly those that are both fit for purpose and a bargain. Got 5 cars. Kids and dags.

Apparently my daily smells of arse guff but due to Covid 20 months ago everything I smell smells of warm porridge…….I know strange.

California Scents have always been good and they're fairly cheap for ones that will last 3+ months if you buy them on eBay.

I quite like the ones that Machine Driven sell which you can customise to your car, then just re-oil them with the supplied bottle of fragrance.

I have used spray fresheners inside my car which stank of cigarettes and dogs from the previous owner. These had little effect.

My partner found an aerosol of Brut "no marks" deodorant which I discharged into every fabric and carpet surface.

Initially, it was quite strong but it has certainly done the job and the car now smells very pleasant in a manly way, several weeks after.

The jelly bean ones are great. Last for ages, but they are pretty sweet smells

I have a Fumebar which fits on the vent but while the first stick lasted for ages, the refill seems to have died pretty quickly

Glade household gel air freshener. About £2 with your groceries. Peel the cover off, throw it in the boot/under a seat for approx 3 months of the flavour of your choice..

Strange! I've always found jelly beans are useless after a week.
I don't like dangly ones so I use febreeze vent-stick ons. Open them halfway and they last for weeks. The blue one is best.

Old Spice for the seniors, or Tabac if wanted to be an old EU Romantic!

Some of the retailers like B&M, The Range and the like often have magic trees for a quid.

That's also my approach. The "Neutradol" gel fresheners from the pound shop/ B&M are good too.

if online is anything to go by it seems as though B&M don't sell it. only tesco, savers, poundland.

I dilute Zoflora in a spray bottle. Cheap enough and has various fragrances to choose from.

Try eating a Yankee Candle for breakfast, then your arse guff will smell of Clean Cotton.

Alternatively I'm told the same company do their own air freshener line....
