Knocked over two coffees in the car- smell removal?

Two white coffees- with milk, knocked over in my daughter’s car. What’s the best product to remove the smell please?

Not sure if it’s the same formula now? But over 30 years ago I had a similar issue and this stuff worked an absolute treat.

Assume white coffee means milk.

How much was spilt as milk is one of the worst things to spill in a car.

Worst case it is strip out the interior, clean all fabrics, replace any soundproofing that has soaked it up.

Worth a call to a local car detailer/valeter for some advice.

Someone I knew spilled a pint of milk in a car, nothing could touch that as the milk soaked into everything and then went off, absolutely gross!!!

Pour Coca Cola on it and then wet vac it out. Coke kills most smells.

Years ago a carton of milk from my shopping split in a Citroen AX that I was using.

I was a courier and the days were hot and long

I know I'm unusual but I just don't understand why people have to drink a cup of coffee whilst driving.

Pretty happy that my car doesn't have cup holders, a glove box or door pockets

My wife once had to go through this rigmarole. Luckily it was a company car so she didn't have to pay. The boot was stripped and had new soundproofing & carpets.

Dunno but it works.

Many years ago a mate of mine spilt milkshake in my car.

I could hardly get in it without barfing. I tried everything, and I mean everything.

A few drops of Nilodor sorted it. Really good stuff.

Liberal application of WD40 kills the bacteria. WD smell will be gone in a day or two.

I have a small detailing business and I sometimes get calls to come round and deal with spills like this asap, my go to is always steam to break down the fats, wet vac a few times.

It might take a few passes but should at least get rid of the odour.

Sometimes though it’s gone right through the fabric and into the seat structure which can be tricky.
