Hi All. I have a 2018 RS5 coupe. I have noticed that the passenger side seatbelt presenter has stopped working. Also the ambient lighting in the door card behind the passenger seat has also stopped working. Are these two items connected, maybe on the same circuit/fuse? Anybody come across this before? TIA

Those LEDs do fail occasionally, and are quite cheap.

Before worrying about the belt helper try moving the seat. They only operate with the front seat in a certain range of positions. I found this out after "repairing" one belonging to a very grumpy customer who liked his seat as high and as far forwards as possible...

Thanks, re: the presenter, tried this and failed. Car has now been with Audi for over 1 month, they have installed a brand new seat belt presenter & motor and that didn't work, then then installed a new control module from the factory, and guess what, it still does not work, they are literally baffled, the saga continues!

Edit to say, they wanted £300 to change the LED strip! Told them I will live without it!

Diagnosis of that is skilled but doable; you'd be comparing signals side to side and seeing what's missing. I can recommend someone but they're in South Bucks. Closest to you I can think of is Unit 20 near Chester; they may be willing to take that on.

Most of the charge to change the LED will be labour. If doing it yourself is an option parts are cheap.
