I'm building an 'overland-lite' vehicle for self supported European/Alpine roadtrips. It has decent all terrain tyres but I'm wanting to take a tyre repair kit as I'd rather repair a tyre than use the spare. I've used a cheapo Amazon 'anchovies' kit before on my Volvo and it worked well but I'm looking for something a little more professional / better quality.

Can anyone recommend anything?

Q bond for sidewalls in a pinch
Look for rema tip top temp repair kits some of big breakdown companies use them only down side is the glue goes off after a few weeks of being opened
Always keep cable ties, chemica metal, gaffer tape and super glue/q bond in for emergency repairs.
Fibre fix is messy but good stuff

I've always had success with the mushroom plug type. Look for a company called grand pitstop on amazon.
Dunno how they would hold up to all terrain, but no issues on my M3 and x5

I've also used a kit like this quite a few times and the repair has always lasted the rest of the life of the tyre.

Compulsory carrying in the boot of the car.
