I replaced a battery in Dec 2022 with one I bought on Ebay with a five year warranty. Recently I found my car failing to start because of low battery and I assumed it was the alternator, so booked it into a garage, the mechanic diagnosed a faulty battery. So I got in touch with the seller of the battery who asked for photos.

I got this reply

The transit plugs have not been removed from the unit as shown in the image my colleague attached.
Please remove this and all being well, your battery should work.
Please note; transit plugs not being removed does void manufacturers warranty.
Kindest Regards

Here is the photo I sent them

I removed the caps as soon as i got the battery, but wonder if anyone can see it from their point of view?

Not sure if I should have posted this in law

Big label on top saying remove the transit plugs.
In your photo you can clearly see the red transit plug still stuck in the side....

Its isn't really big but it can definitely be seen bottom of pic.

The label telling the OP to remove them does have an arrow to both ends of the battery & obviously he missed that one.

Slam dunk unfortunately OP.

As said above, even if it had a 5 year warranty, I wouldn't use a name I had never heard of & that is a new one for me.

Thanks for everyone who replied.

The plug wasn't exactly big. After RacingStripes posted it took a while before I noticed it.
