I'm struggling to find a touch-up pencil for my A110... it seems that Alpine don't do one (blue, black and white only, go figure!) and the I'm not convinced that the 3rd party providers really can provide the right shade as they just say 'orange' when the reg. is given, and there are a number of oranges in the Alpine palette.

Anyone had any success in finding the right paint?

I put your reg number into Chipex website and your car came up. I've bought a couple of their kits and the match was perfect

Interesting. Always nervous that it would not match?

I got a Chipex kit for my orange A110 earlier this year via my registration no. The match is embarrassingly terrible! I should have sent it back but couldn't be bothered in the end.

I have looked at Chipex... they also state 'orange' but don't clarify what paint code until you've bought the paint...

I have used Chipex on Mrs T's Iron Blue Clio for which it was a good match. My other objection to Chipex is price - I just want the paint not the cloths, polish and other junk they include, as I've already got those.

I might try one of the other 3rd parties and do a patch test before hand (Mrs T has a very good eye for colour and will tell me if it matches before I apply it to the car) - they are less than half the cost of Chipex. Will update this thread with the results.
