Interior carpet/leather/trim renovations
Discussion
Can anyone recommend a good TVR trim specialist in the South please? I would like to get some quotes on "tidying" carpet/leather areas and perhaps removing some excess glue from original manufacture, so any advice appreciated. Main item is to re-attach/glue leather on rear shelf bulkhead which is starting to come loose.
Went to AJ Trimming and apparently the rear shelf on the Tuscan (just under rear screen) is a plastic/vinyl material to which glue does not easily adhere. Result - because of poor original build quality and crap "repairs" subsequently, my rear shelf remains loose from the bulkhead and looks like it cannot be repaired!
Anyone help here? Really want to find a solution which gets this tidied up - which does not result in a return to the factory for re-trim.

I know he's not down south but the best out there IMHO is a guy called Roy Dowd (ACT Trimmers in Blackpool). Years ago he used to work for TVR and transformed my 3000M in 1976. He works in a little lock up with no overheads and has done Porsches Ferraris you name it he has done complete interiors and the quality is always outstanding. Over the years he has retrimmed about 8 cars for me and a boat!
He is always very busy and needs a months or 2 notice for a big job and his prices are very reasonable. At the moment he is putting in an all new leather interior new carpets and headlining in my orange Lotus plus 2S. It will be finished next week here are a few before and after pics of some of the interior trim, sorry if you don't like orange!
My TR6 he did last year:
