Williams-Button??

ha ha ha.
Vaild point, its a very mature thing to do on Jensons side.
Now lets all hope that the combination of him a Rubens and Honda have what it takes in 2006 to beat the McLaren and Renaults, not to mention maybe Ferrari being back up there - but from what Patrick Head has said they are aiming for Jenson to be behind them - reality check I cant see that happening.

I think williams have good prospects for next year.
Cosworth are said to be well ahead of the game in terms of their V8 engine. WIlliams Technical director has said good things about next years bridgestone tyres. In the longer term williams will undoubtably gain a strategic advantage by making that switch now as its looking very likely F1 will move to one tyre supplier, the FIA don't want it to be michelin.

I feel sorry for Jenson, Williams "dropped" him in favour of a deal to retain RS and engage JPM. They DID want him, but they didn't, so they tied him up in knots for 2 yrs so that short term their competitors couldn't have him.......
They.....let him down badly IMHO and I hope that he can: "Pay them back" for it in the future. Williams IMO did the same with Mansell, opting for: "a deal" with Senna.
So overall, Williams track record with drivers is NOT good of late and perhaps Jenson has made the right choice if BAR have promised to stay with him.
I for one would LOVE to see him succeed....
