I've had a strange one with Surfshark the past few days in Rhodes.
Wanted to use BBC Sounds to listen to some podcasts.
Phone both on the hotel's WiFi and using my mobile data the BBC said not allowed from this location. My tablet through my phones hot-spot, worked. VPN to London both times.
Now sitting at Rhodes Airport BBC Sounds works with no VPN at all. Maybe I should have just tried it without the VPN.

I was in France when Wimbledon was on and forgot to switch on Nord... no dice. Put Nord back on (UK geo) and it was the same - 'not from this location'. Cleared the cookies and normal service resumed.
