New version of Nissan Leaf? (Joke)
Discussion
So here is an article from the BBC site on using seaweed to power vehicles in The Caribbean. I thought at first it was perhaps fuel for electricity generation but it then goes on to mention conversion kits for the cars.
It show a Nissan Leaf in the picture to be running on said fuel (ambiguously possibly)
Slight anomaly is that I don't recollect there ever being a version of the Leaf that was fuel conventional (Normal fossil/alternative) powered. Just electric.

From two thirds of the way through the article - "Watching the successful test drive of a biogas-charged Nissan Leaf "
I would take that to mean that the Leaf's battery was charged with electricity from a generator running on biogas from their process. Producing biogas from waste of various sorts is in widespread use. The novelty here is the adaptation of the process to use Sargassum.
