Hi,

I am changing the passenger seatbelt on my Volante and I am looking for some advice regarding the rear seat removal to allow me to access the side panel where the seatbelt is located. I have looked at the relevant page in the workshop manual and I have removed the seat and velcro panel exposing the bottom bolts, however, the head rest infill is where I am stuck, it looks like it is just velcro'ed in, however I am reticent to rive it out in case I am missing something. Once this is out, I believe I can just undo the bolts behind it and the seat will come out allowing me to remove the side panels hiding the seatbelt (which are held on with fir tree clips, I think?)

Thanks

Steve

Looking at a parts diagram it appears there's a retention bracket and sliding the headrest up rather than pulling it towards you is required.

Hi,

Thanks for the response, that was exactly what I needed to do! It was quite tight and I was concerned I might damage it, but it shifted okay

Cheers

Nice one, glad it worked. Bookmark the scuderia parts website, they've got detailed schematics for most Astons.
