Shower linear drain odour trap water level
Discussion
On a Jackoboard linear drain and tray, could someone say what the water level in the odour trap should be?

Ours, installed 2yrs ago in a little used ground floor wetroom, smelled a couple of times over 2yrs which I understand is not unexpected, but now I've found that if I fill the odour trap most of the water disappears within a few mins leaving just enough to make a seal. Then sometimes over a couple of days enough water goes to break the seal, and the smell is horrendous. Other times it'll be OK for weeks.
The toilet and sink gets used quite a lot. There's a high level (in the single story roof space) AAV on the soil pipe. Toilet works fine, no gurgling of sink or shower traps when it's flushed.
