Posted both of these already but fits in here, Tarte Tatin of a kind. One of my favourites I will be doing again in the next day or so but this time with Earl Grey somewhere in it. Used to make an Earl Grey ice cream to go with it but can't be bothered with digging the machine out the loft.

Creme Caramel. The other one of my favourites and again, I'll be doing in the next day or so to use up all the cream I have kicking around!

Mi cuit coulant with Valrhona chocolate,

So rich and so filling, such a large portion bloody gorgeous.

The following day I finished lunch with this little selection.

Plus the last of this very nice wine,

Thought there may be an interest in posting home made cookery that doesn't really qualify to be in the breakfast, dinner, lunch, curry threads? For example this month I made a cake........

and a Banoffee pie...............

Tomorrow (as it's Easter) it'll be hot cross buns and Easter biscuits.

So show us your bakes, puddings, snacks, pickles/jams - anything that doesn't 'fit' in the other threads.

It's my best mates favourite and as it was his 60th Birthday two weeks we'd arranged to go out for an early curry with the Wives and end up back at ours for drinks. It was unbelievably easy to make (almost embarrassingly easy paperbag ) here's the ingredients.............

And the method...........

Easiest brownie points ever hehe

Ooooff that Sachertorte is new to me and looks amazing maybe above my skill level but I've put it on my to do list thumbup

One of my all time faves is pineapple upside down cake but Wifey is not fussed on pineapple so my first bake was back in January with my neighbours fresh pears. Buoyed with that success I asked Wifey "what should i do next" She immediately (as i feared) said Black Forest so I had to give it a go..........

Thankfully She didn't find out how expensive that pot of cherries was yikes

Sorry I did search but nothing came up (some lovely stuff on there too) happy to merge the threads if the OP and mods agree?
