You handy folk helped me fix my leaking tap and I now need help to fix a leaking washing machine.

I’ve identified the problem and am wondering where the best place to order a replacement seal from is? Is it a doddle to fix? I’m guessing YouTube will have the process.

Thanks

Literally a search for "Door seal for Siemens washing machine" brings up the sources for the parts and a load of install videos.

Get the model number off the machine, chuck it into Google along with 'door seal', and you should find the correct bit. Prices + delivery for spares can be all over the place so have a good search before committing, and Amazon/Ebay can end up best for this sort of simple part.

OEM seals here https://www.bosch-home.co.uk/store/spare-parts/mod...

BSH machines should all use the same parts, there may be a Siemens branded version of this site but it’ll be the same stuff.

Pretty much what I was going to say, with the added bit, but it from whoever has it in stock. Parts prices and quality is all pretty similar between suppliers.

I did a seal on a Beko recently was a pain in the rear to get back on, cheap enough though.

A replacement seal is best, especially with a big gap like that, but in a pinch you can bodge that with some grey coloured sugru from Amazon - google has loads of examples of how to do.

I fixed a similar issue - sugru is of the consistency of blu tack and can be molded into any shape and then sets hard and water resistant, but still flexible, when exposed to air.

Thanks all.

I did a search on the model and came up wit results with prices from £35 - £105 so wanted to see if there was a go to site for good quality at the lower end of the budget.
