Has anyone come across these guys

https://www.tuksedostudio.com/

Unless it’s all fake it looks incredible workmanship.

Anyone in Bali know anything about them, the Gullwing and DB5 look amazing. I understand the Aston uses a straight6 3 litre BMW engine mated to a manual 5 speed box.

They claim everything built in house, if so it’s a remarkable achievement, or have I fallen victim to AI again.

Looks fascinating.

I can imagine that even if it’s 100% true and they can turn that work out it won’t be cheap & Mercedes Benz, Aston Martin, Porsche & Toyota’s lawyers will be along shortly to shut it down.

Mercedes Benz in particular take the replica market incredible seriously & have form for seizing & destroying copies.

It’s their IP after all.

I’m not against replicas, some of the GT-40 & Cobra reps are probably more sorted than the real thing.

Lister Bell’s Stratos & Lynx’s D-Types show a rep is nothing to be ashamed of.

The other concern is when you say ‘engineering’ my immediate response isn’t ’Bali!’.

On its way to the Bali Motorsport Club to ensure his stay?

A new business turning out one tool room replica would be quite an achievement. But this range of vehicles.......

If it walks like a duck, etc, etc.

Did they go after that replica Gullwing Merc that Kindig Kustoms built a few years ago that they featured on the show......especially as they kept calling it a Mercedes on the show, and even put original MB badges onto it?

I would have thought MB's legal team in the US of A would have been all over that like a rash at the time, especially as Kindig showed it off at SEMA....!!

Admittedly this was company in Germany doing it.

Not smart doing it in MB's own back yard, where they will have more legal protection for their IP laugh

US of A might be a bit different, and they might not have as much legal clout to take action?

The DB5 looks a little odd to me. It seems to sit a bit low, and the roofline looks too low as well. It could just be photo angles.

Apparently it has a 2 litre engine with 150bhp. frown

Looks like the place exists and there are plenty of pics of cars in various stages of build...

I get a feeling that the photos on the website are the genuine cars but that their products will be a long way from tool-room replicas.

Agree. However better than that awful ‘Aston Martin DB5 but also not Aston Martin DB homage’ thing that was doing the rounds a little while back. Pathetic engine. I suppose that’s all you need for posing in.

Do you mean the BAE Vantare, based on a DB9 with backing from Bradley Walsh
