I think it's pretty interesting looking...in a good way. I can imagine a production car looking quite good; a "statement" car. Shame it won't have a V8/12.
Not so sure on the interior, but since they're going for high end luxury I'd imagine it'll look and feel much nicer when all finished.
Maybe not in pink, mind you.

I guess you could pull out the batteries etc and fit one if you had enough skill... then respray it and put a proper Jaguar logo on it!GR_TVR said:

Like you I am pretty upbeat about it even to the extent of seeing the Jaguar DNA in those curves over the rear arches . I am amazed how People on here freely accepted an SUV being labelled a Jaguar yet have a problem with this ?Not so sure on the interior, but since they're going for high end luxury I'd imagine it'll look and feel much nicer when all finished.

Its obviously going ahead to head with the Taycan at a similar price point and I wish them well . Clearly its a volume game as there is no future in being a niche manufacturer (TVR , Bristol , Jensen) and nor would it support all those jobs in the West Midlands . Jaguar has spent most of its life in the shadow of bankruptcy so I can see the thinking about this conquering of new buyers . I am worried about two things , firstly have the Government got it all wrong about its timetable for EV manufacture ( I believe they have ) and secondly have they got the quality sorted ?

Cars don't end up looking like the concepts anyway.
Some do.Concept unveiled in January 2003, at the North American International Auto Show.
Production version. Customer deliveries began in the Autumn 2005.
When a concept car looks that good (and the order book soon filled up for 2 years production), there is no need to alter anything.
I wish Jaguar well, but an 18 months wait before customer deliveries.commence must be a huge risk.
Tata will presumably be studying advanced order numbers and will have time to 'pull the plug', if they choose to.
