I can't help with a local lawyer referral but do check whether you have any legal expenses insurance policies that might cover you in this type of claim. My OH is using one that was attached to our household insurance to look into a potential incorrect redundancy procedure that he was the victim of. If you've got one and it applies to your circumstances it'll save you a lot of cash.

Good luck.

If you get made redundant (as opposed to sacked) you're entitled to all your benefits/car etc for the notice period, even if you don't work it.

The legal department where I'm based specialises in all aspects of Employment Law but, unfortunately, it forms part of a teaching union and can only provide a full legal service/representation to union members. However, if you have any general questions, I can ask my work colleagues for advice which I can then pass on to you.

Is it too late to join a Union now and then ask for their help?
It might be worth a try.
Good luck.
