Anyone know anything about this car?

This car has been on sale for over 1 year by looks of it and has dropped from £135k to £112k. Does anyone know this car or know why it hasn't sold as it seems well priced?

It cannot be well priced, if still for sale.
You might know more about Aston Martins than this trader does.
How about trying some acting?
My suggestion for a negotiation.
When you arrive at the dealer, make sure you only appear mildly interested.
Tell them about the model Porshe 911 that you have been looking for.
Show that you know they have been trying to sell their car for a year.
Perhaps mention that it hasn't helped having the car idle for 1 year.
Tell them during the time they have had it on sale, it has been replaced by a much better model Vantage, so they will struggle even more, to find anyone interested in buying the old model.
Probably the right moment now, to make your cheeky cash offer.
Good luck.

I can’t comment on the car but if I were buying a car of that age/price, I’d be looking at either an Aston main dealer or a well known Aston specialist for peace of mind. I’d also want a decent warranty which is where buying from an Aston dealer makes it easier....a friend bought a used DBS and the gearbox went on it & because he’d bought it from a main dealer it was sorted relatively easily.
I guess that the people who buy that kind of car and spend that kind of money will want the new Vantage not what is perceived to be the old one now. All the specials of that era have been collapsing in value too so it may be also hard to get finance. When it falls to 85-100k there will be a few more buyers.

Seeing the new Vantage is twice the price of the advertised one , I’d think you’d be guessing wrong.Buster73 said:

Not really. The new Vantage starts at £165k, albeit devoid of options, so in a similar ballpark and given Aston stellar value retention I doubt they will be trading for "overs".cayman-black said:
Jon you sound like a dealers nightmare! spot on though.
OP best colour combo for the F1 , for me miles a little high and no lime accents inside, i,m fussy though, price is good no warranty?
I agree on the colour…I’m currently in a 2022 vantage but want to go to the F1 in the matte colour. Warranty is essential too. OP best colour combo for the F1 , for me miles a little high and no lime accents inside, i,m fussy though, price is good no warranty?

I have just recently bought a Vantage F1 Edition and although not from a main dealer it did have an Aston Martin Warranty for another 13 Months and the car had only covered 700 miles with Full history.
I paid £119,000 for the car if that helps gauge the price of this car.
The car I bough had most of the available options apart from ceramic brakes but included Apple CarPlay, Premium Audio, Black Cross Brace, Carbon Interior, Lime Contrast Stripe on Interior, Touchpad, Lime Callipers and The Diamond Cut Alloys.
Another must have for me were the Black Badges and although the paint is Gloss Green I will most likely Stealth PPF the car to protect and give the appearance of the matte paint. For me if a Matte paint car doesn't have PPF applied I wouldn't look at it as there isn't much you can if there are any marks on the paint.
Unfortunately due to very poor weather I haven't had much chance to drive it very far yet

That sounds exactly like what I’m after! Good point about the ppf I didn’t think of that. My current Vantage is grey but it has a matte ppf on it and it looks amazing.I paid £119,000 for the car if that helps gauge the price of this car.

I assume your Apple car play was an after market fit?

It was fitted by an Aston Martin dealer so the IDCORE system. Works well and for me is a requirement just for the Sat nav. I assume your Apple car play was an after market fit?
