had a look at their EV, tariff with 3 discount periods.

Compared to octopus go, the standing charge is circa 20p less per day, off peak charging is 2.5pence less and normal rate 1.5pence less. Looks like a good setup really. Anyone using them?

Yes I started with them today, I only signed up on Wednesday. It seems too good to be true but only time will tell. If you look on the Octopus thread. (where I got the tip) a few have signed up.

hehe

I suppose we should be grateful that Jaguar hasn't changed its name to Strawberry...

I think naming companies after fruit is a bit old hat now. Can we go back to names like 'Greater Dingleford Electricity Generating Company' please?

I’ve been with them, moved from Octopus Agile, for a little over three weeks now. Well pleased so far.

The 5p overnight rate is like being back on Octopus Go four years ago when it was 5p for four hours at night and 12.5p the rest of the time. Those were the days …

How did it go for you? They went out of business today.

I had a good run January to August but jumped ship due to repeated late billing and could see the writing in the wall.

I almost had a full year out of them. Been very pleased but it was clearly too good to last.

I put a switch request in to move to Octopus about 4 hours before the failure was announced, so I might have just made the last chopper out of Saigon, or I could have a short visit to the SoLR in my future.

To be fair, I left OurPower around the time they failed and Utilita paid out the remaining credit on my account fairly soon after they took on the remains of the company. I don’t remember it taking particularly long, so I wouldn’t be overly concerned.

I jumped ship last week, it was pretty obvious they couldn't survive but it was good while it lasted. Having two EV’s my bill will probably go up £20/£30 a month.
