I have a 944 Turbo and want to check the sills carefully before selling.

Any tips and suggestions would be appreciated.

Not sure where you are but when I was looking at buying a UK 944T a few years ago someone recommended these guys…

I had several conversations with them about stuff and looking at 944s in general - never needed their services in the end but appeared v knowledgeable and helpful, including recommending other specialists in areas out of their reach

Thanks for this.

I'm actually wanting to check myself. I can see the outer sills are looking very good but I'm not sure how to check the inner sills and anything that's out of sight.

Probably covered in the above but you need to find a way of looking down through the removable grill in the door opening.

I quick torch isn’t enough unless you can dangle a torch and camera down there on a string.

Thanks for the last two posts in particular. I have a Bosch scope on the shelf and will "look into" it when I get the time.

And for the video link, which I'd missed.

It looks like I just need to do a careful external visual and tap test and thorough scope test through the vent .

I just want to be confident of the sills integrity before any viewing because I think it's going to be a selling point.

If you set your phone to record a video with the flash on then you can stick it in the hole and wiggle it around a bit - then view the video afterwards to get a decent idea.
