VW Golf/VAG 1.6 Tdi Injectors

Hi all,

I hear and read often about issues with failing 1.6 tdi injectors. Are there any particular years where this was rectified or not so common? Car in question is a Golf (16 reg) with approx 120k miles.

Also in general, any other common issues with these cars or at this kind of mileage? They seem to go on well if cared for, seen several with 190k. But just cautious of any specific or high cost issues.
