I was using the Q7 (2020, 40k miles) last weekend to ferry kids here and there when the dashboard lit up like a Christmas Tree and the car literally stopped.

Had the car towed to an Audi centre who have now told me the 48v battery is dead and needs replacing at a cost of £2,200!

It seems like a pretty catastrophic failure for such a high value component and I’ve seen there’s a class action against Audi in the US because it appears to happen quite a lot!

Has anyone had this in the UK and did you get any joy out of Audi in terms of goodwill?

Cheers!

Bit of a thread here from earlier in the year.
