Transferring Royal London pension to SIPP

One of my kids has an old pension with RL from a previous employer.

How easy would it be to transfer this to a Vanguard SIPP and how quick would it be?

Very easy and in the over all scheme of things not too long. I moved from a Personal Pension to a SIPP with A J Bell. Took about four weeks.

I assume the steps are

1. Set up a SIPP with Vanguard
2. Contact RL and give them the details of the VG SIPP?

is that it or am I missing something? Can I ask VG to contact RL?
