I've enjoyed 30 days of free YT premium, but I can't stomach paying £20 a month for it, and I'll never use YT music.

I recall some PHers talking about a cheaper option, involving using a VPM to access international pricing, but when I try, it doesn't matter what country I set Nord to, it only offers me UK pricing - what am I doing wrong? Do I need to start a new account?

They have clamped down on it recently, I had it via Argentina but have lost it now.

The email I got from them this month suggests the fun is over. I’ve paid £2pm for over a year as I , ahem, live in the Phillipines. Card needs to be registered there now. I’ll have a look when it runs out to see if there’s another country I can live in, they seem to phase them out .

I use it all the time so will pay didn’t realise it’s £20 though Jesus.

Ah, another boat missed. I think it's £18 to be specific. It's a good product, especially as the ads are beyond taking the piss now. £18 though, that's top Netflix money and there's part of me that thinks users created content, as much as I enjoy it, doesn't have the same value as studio created content.

The quality seems down too, it's always the 'algorithm', but creators seem to be cutting back, I think they're squeezing them too.

Seems they charge more if you do it via an Apple Device! I guess Apple pocket the rest for admin or whatever.

Load Smart Tube onto a firestick for viewing on your TV. Works very well.
