X308 Knock sensors

Hi all, I have a 3.2 v8 X308 that I've recently changed the knock sensors on after they were both showing as faulty on my OBD2 scanner and the car was going into restricted performance.

It seemed to sort the problem for a 100 miles or so but now I have the engine warning light on and a fault code saying bank 1 knock sensor fault.

What can I check?

Swap them over and see what happens
Could be a failure on one of the new ones.

Would this be an easy job as I don5 know where they are located
