Hi, I have this type of meter. The reading was zero at the start. How do I calculate how many kWh of energy have been used? Cheers.

Google says multiply by 11.1868 as a rough value.

EON say Cubic meters (m3) used x calorific value x Correction factor (1.02264) ÷ kWh conversion factor (3.6) = kWh. They also use a calorific value of 38 in their example.

Scottish power are pretty similar.
On my bill it shows as Gas Units Used x Calorific Value (39.2) x Volume Correction (1.02264) ÷ 3.6 = Gas Units in kWh

You need to look at your bill, multiply reading volume correction 1.02264 then divide by calorific value shown on bill, usually between 38 and 40 depending on time of year. Then divide by 3.6 to give Kw.

My latest bill shows calorific value of 38, don’t know if it varies from region to region.
