Wheel snow chains for Vanquish 2 gen
Discussion
Go for a proper set of winter wheels and drop the snow chains. The use case for chains is very narrow and to get chains for wide wheels is very difficult. I live in Austria in a ski resort during the winter and have in the last 20 years never used chains despite having a couple of sets. I drive a GT3 Touring with winter tyres. The best thing is to plan a bit ahead and simply avoid going out on the road when it snows. After a (heavy) snowfall roads are very quickly cleared so simply wait a bit and then go. So build in a bit of flexibility around your travelling days and you’ll be fine. If you are considering to go on normal tyres (and then use chains when needed - don’t) as winter tyres are mandatory in Austria between November and March.

Thank you so much for your reply and advice. That is the best solution I can imagine, since chains are always a risk for such cars. I am using winter Michelin Alpine Pilot tyres which are fantastic, so I am good. As far as I know winter chains are mandatory in Austria. Do I need to have any chains in my boot anyway, just to avoid any dispute with a police or I can definitely drop it? Edited by chrzesm on Monday 16th December 08:32

Yep, get proper winter tyres. We switch them out on the EV and drive to skiing every year. Last year was particularly snowy and slippy but we had no issues at all.
