As per title really, got a bag of this stuff that is about 2 years out of date. Unopened and was in a dark cupboard. Has a best before (as opposed to use by) date.

Is it still good, or best to throw away? I like sprinkling it on potatoes and frying smile

If it looks and smells ok it’ll be fine, just might not have the freshness or potency as fresh spices.

At such a low price point unless you need it for something urgent I would just replace when I next did a shop.

Nothing wrong with it, I’d happily use it. We throw far too much as it is. frown

Like any dried spice as long as it's bone dry It'll be fine - flavour will drop off with age but not many people would notice that anyway!
