Rather simple one I suspect, but my googling and calling around has given me nothing, maybe I’m just not very good at looking. So I thought I would ask here!

The missus work horse (308 ‘14) threw low battery on the key fob on the dash. No worries, swapped them both out for her and said to give them both a fiddle at the car now.

She didn’t do that.

Fast forward the next time she uses it, 3 days later, they don’t respond and instead set the car alarm off. So now she’s manually using the key. Not a problem in reality, but it would sure be useful to get them both working again.

Does anyone have some experience, or direction for me to achieve this? Managed to find a link to reset the key fob in a 206 but never a 308. The local stealer tech told me a little sequence, that never worked;
  1. Drivers door open.
  2. Put key in, light up the dash.
  3. Leave key in, hold lock button (5 seconds).
  4. Remove key, press lock.
  5. (Should be) Hey presto!
No bueno.

Any help is greatly appreciated

The issue might be that they were used before pairing so you could try taking the batteries out and starting again. I had a look online for the 308 manual and in it states the same procedure you listed but without mentioning the door needing to be open and holding the lock button 'for a few seconds' if that matters.

Absolutely no luck with it. Rather annoyingly, none of the things online seem to be working!
