So I bought this car back in 2019. Dad had a 5 cylinder coupe back in the 80's when I was still a kid, and always loved that 5 cylinder warble. Now an original quattro was out of my price range and this was the next best option. Happened upon this car by accident, saw it advertised in a local independent car sales, hated the wheels and totally discounted it!
A work colleague at the time mentioned his best friend worked at the dealer and said we should go an test drive it. That was a lunch break I'd never forget, quick test drive, deposit left and it was mine 3 days later just in time for a drive down to the festival of speed in July 2019
Little about the car, currently on 64k, was on 55k when I bought it. It's an original press car, so one of the very first ones registered in May 2011. Can imagine my horror when researching to see an identical car with one letter difference in the registration with all the side hanging off
Pretty much standard apart from a scorpion exhaust, this was developed and fitted by scorpion themselves. It's my car used on their website. Pictures credited to them!
Hope to keep this post updated along the way!

I know nothing about the early ones but I like you're keeping it oem+.So when did the exhaust go from twin round to the ovals we see now? Was the S available back then? ISTR a 3.2 as a rare thing with 2 round tips but that wasn't the RS..
The 8P RS3 had the twin exit left hand side. The next gen 8V went to the single oval each side. Ive seen people convert the 8P to this set up, I'm not a fan.
Ive also seen people say they do it to make it a proper RS, but people seem to forget the original RS (RS2) had the twin on the left side.
