My rear magride shock is leaking and I don’t fancy paying £400 each as I feel in a matter of the time the fronts will need done too.

So i’m looking into deleting it completely which needs a cancellation kit that plugs in. The KW one seems to be the most established.

As for actual suspension setup I am not looking for a sporty stiff setup, i’d rather it be comfier. Any recommendations? As it’s for a daily driver I think adjustability would be wasted.

Options i’ve seen are ST X Coilovers which are basically KW V1 from what I read. AP coilovers are cheaper but maybe too cheap? Numerous Bilstein kits out there too
The choice seems to be either to replace like-for-like, in stages, or to spend more now on a fixed setup.

A full Magride renewal would likely cost a similar amount to the best coilovers, once you also include a Magride deletion module. But you wouldn't need to do it one go.

If you expect to keep the car for less than a few years then you might therefore re-visit replacing the existing Magride setup as you go along, as this route would be cheaper in the short term and preserve a desirable spec item.

FWIW I run an RS3 with Magride and MSS adjustable springs, which is a good setup.

Do you want/need the adjustability of coilovers? Delete and replace with standard parts?

I'd leave them alone and replace with standard, personally. Cheaper from nagengast than Audi. Email them or see their replies on R8Talk etc.
