I posted this in the computer & stuff section but didn’t get much response so thought I’d try here.

Greetings from Florida. Mrs BC and I spend 2-3 months a year in the USA though not resident so cant get bank accounts etc.

It’d be really useful to have a US cellphone number. Has anyone here tried buying an ESim as a second number? I have an iPhone 14 Pro. I don’t need data, just the ability to make and receive calls to USA numbers.

Thanks in advance .

I was in USA in Sept
Used Airalo and it worked great.

I think they are valid for 30d max, but at £9, it's no great deal to buy 2 or 3 of them.

I've used Airalo a few times when I've not been in a data roaming zone included with my networks plan, easy to top up if needed.
