Please can I have some ideas of things to do in Seville in March? We will have the best part of 3 days and would like to see some historical stuff and enjoy some good local cuisine.
Thanks.
Funnily enough we’re going to Seville for three days in March: I bought a guide book, there’s loads to see and do.Thanks.

We will be there from 23rd March, so will be keen to hear how you get on (and what you do) if you’re there earlier in the month!I’ve got a guide book, but there are a lot of options, so first hand recommendations are useful.

I started a thread a while back that had some really good suggestions - search should help you.
But basically:
Walking tour
Las Setas
Plaza de España (you’ll learn a lot more about it as part of walking tour)
Flamenco show
Royal Alcázar
El Rincociillo for tapas
And just mooch about - I went on my own but I had an amazing time - so much so, I’m going back with a group of friends next October.

I was mesmerised at the Flamenco - so intense!
These are the people I used for my walking tour - https://www.guruwalk.com/

Definitely do a Flamenco show. I’m not interested in dance, but their energy and skill is amazing and I loved it.
Absolutely this. There's a tiny theatre of around 15 seats or so in the Mercado de Triana food market that has a few shows each day and is fantastic.
We walked out totally shell-shocked after such an amazing and intense show. Go and you won't regret it.

Just came back from a trip there last week, our first time and we loved it.
Would concur with a walking tour (we used get your guide) - did on our first morning to get our bearings / get some tips etc.
The Royal Alcazar Palace is definitely worth a visit - we used the audio tour but in hindsight would have been better with a guide
We did a cooking course at the Triana Market (market is worth a visit on its own) - really enjoyable few hours and our course included a tour of the market
The Caminito del Rey walk is about 2 hours away but well worth it
My son is football mad so we did a stadium tour of Sevilla - fun hour
The rest of the time we spent wondering around, really nice vibe about the place, good restaurants etc

I know my "Ronda" suggestion was a bit of a tangent - but having been to both Ronda & Seville, I'll double down on it. Seville's lovely, but not unlike many other european city breaks. Where else in the world do you get a view like this, though - and my hotel suggestion is the hotel in this pic. 2 hour drive from Seville:

Ronda is a day trip. Yes the bridge and Parador are fantastic, but the rest is not much different from down the hill in San Pedro.

If you're there on a Sunday there will be "street" Flamenco on the steps of the Plaza de España.There's a tiny theatre of around 15 seats or so in the Mercado de Triana food market that has a few shows each day and is fantastic.

Otherwise find a show in one of the specialist venues.

Seville is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe in my opinion and there's lots to see and do. I was there a couple of years ago in the height of summer where is was 52 degrees, but it was not uncomfortably hot since it was completely dry heat rather than the horrible humid kind. I don't know if it will be the same in March, but I saw some Flamenco dances being put on for free in the Plaza de Espana.
Ronda is also well worth visiting - if you have three days then make a day of it.
Edit - here's a quick video of the Flamenco performance I saw as I wandered around the Plaza de España
