My wife managed to do damage to clutch burning it out so its unmoveable now, think the car is undriveable and we had to be recovered following a puncture. She was trying hard to get to see a family member who unfortunately died. Also recovering herself from C.
At least she won't desperately be needing to use it as she's signed off and currently on chemo stuff so I'm thinking to leave it til some nicer months before I start ? I was using as the more economical car for us to get shopping though, kind of like driving the little thing about almost wonder is now the time for that big power citigo plan lol.

Found a video on doing the clutch assuming being a smaller car would be somewhat easier than much big old car, but there seems to be a fair bit of crap involved though. I've never done a clutch but done other car mechanicals.
Is it worth me giving it a go and any tips on this in general? Any good ideas on what to buy for the clutch pack etc? Thanks.

They won't come much simpler than one of these, if you have the space and can get it high enough then go for it.

Yes you will want the full clutch kit, if its been hot and there is any damage to the flywheel you may well need to get it skimed - assuming its a single piece.
