My mate was visiting his in-laws at the weekend, father in law mentions there’s been a 4x4 Tata Steed parked up outside house half on kerb half on public road for over a year which looks abandoned (wheels gone down, moss around window edges),

My mate puts it into MOT check and the registration is not recognised.

How does he help the father in law get it shifted or at least looked at by authorities? He wants it gone. It’s parked on public road.

And it'll get removed more quickly if the handbrake has failed and it's rolled into the road and is causing an obstruction.

From the description of the vehicle, it would need a mysterious tornado force wind to pump up the "wheels" and the handbrake is probably seized on. But stranger things have happened...

Even quicker if you think it smells heavily of leaking petrol.
