Austec to hold a yearly Drag Racing event at Santa Pods!!!!

Like always, I bring you one fresh off the press!

With so many upgrading their TVR's, suspension, tyres, induction kits, ECUs, forced-induction, what better way to really see how quick your P&J is than the good old quarter-mile!
And in come Austec who will be organising a yearly Drag-Racing event at Santa Pods, mid-country and open to ALL TVR's!!!
The date is to be chosen, between April-May 2006!

So from the good old S's right through Chims through cerbs-tuscs through to the Sagaris... ALL get to have a full on day of TVR in-house competitive fun.
The day will be a family event! And all will get plenty of runs, as much as can be squeezed into the day, so you can proudly go home with a time-slip worthy of framing! :)

Well he said it isnt impossible with the right engine work, but he would like to see you on his rollers! So if you want a good coffee and have a good chat with the Autocraft boys, pay them a visit bud!

Unfortunately I've lost one of my best cars and drivers over the quarter mile, both now reside in heaven .. but I still have one driver/car combo capable of repeatable 12.3 /118 so I'll try find a few more to come along.

0 to 60 in 1.7 sec's (no i'm not joking).it mostly runs 10.5 - 10.4 allday .had a few probs in the last part of the year but hopeing i'll be back on form this weekend.
Not bad at all, I saw your beast at Austec on the open day, and you're quite a big fella, I reckon if you hit the gym, lose a 100lbs or so, you could easily bring that down to low 9's

Ian, what do you launch at? (you use a trans brake?)
What rear end you running? Detroit 9" locker?
