What would you buy back if you could?
Discussion
Following on from the guy trying to find his dads old motorcycle, what would you buy back if you had the chance ?
I guess the tricky bit is at current Market Value ...... Not what we sold at sadly
Cars - possibly my Cortina 1600e, Audi Quattro, Honda Civic VTI, SLK, Boxster, mk2 golf gti 8v.
- 100% mk2 3.0 capri, mk3 3.0 capri. forgot to add the 993 RSR replica and the GT3
Bikes - possibly my old FS1E (SS), GT185, CRM250
- 100% RC45, 916 S, TL1000s,

There’s only a few cars I’d like to get back but not at current prices (E30 M3, Mk1 RS2000, Talbot Sunbeam rally car - would be 40k minimum in today’s market)
So I looked at the last bike I owned thinking that might be affordable. Honda MTX 125R. Can’t find any for sale in the UK albeit I’m not at all into bikes so might not be looking in the right places. One in Italy for sale

I'd guess all of my old cars except the last are now baked bean cans, but if I were to pick one of them to miraculously appear on my drive it would be the Fiat 124 Sports Coupe.
Fast enough for our congested roads, and real period Italian fun.
Also I am the proverbial short legs long arms shape that fitted old Italian cars!

My Dad's MK2 Black and Gold 3.0 S Capri, still on the system as SORN, with the last V5C issued in 1996, which is when he sold it, a lot of work went into that car getting it back up together, though if it is still out there I should imagine it would take even more now.

Mine was stolen, I passed my driving test a fortnight later and never rode a bike again
My 1983 Audi 80 quattro. I swapped my 1990 Golf GTi for it as the engine was starting to rattle and was starting to get a bit rough around the edges.. where the Audi was immaculate along with a recently rebuilt and tuned by GTi Engineering engine.
A couple of years later, my then girlfriend decided to swipe the keys out of my pocket on a night out, took it for a joyride and crashed it. I claimed on my insurance but managed to buy it back with a twisted front subframe and sold it for parts to an Audi specialist in Bristol area for £700.
