I am not without influence in the wonderful world of number plate design - FancyPlates now offers a Noble logo-ed number plate border style (IMHO, it only works well on the rear and may add too many occurrences of the word Noble but hey, you choose).

:bounce:

Look under "Euro Cars" in the "Border Style" drop
down menu at: http://www.ezplates.co.uk/car_plates/step2.html

Nice one Rob - they look great on screen esp yellow rear with black/silver surround), but then I went out to the car and thought....perhaps not(definitely too many Nobles, for my taste)

It doesn't matter how many times "Noble" is written on the car - you still get the blatantly stupid asking "What is it?" - whilst standing at the front of the car looking at the bonnet !

Bugger. I bought my Fancy Plate two weeks ago and I would loved to have the noble logo.

I usually state it's a reliant robin with a body kit.

I've been asked if it's front wheel drive as well....at the time both the clams were open

Best one I've heard was

"Yeh its a TVR Speed 6 in the back".... again whilst looking at the Duratec under the open rear clam

Very often I get the following...

"What is it?"
"It's a Noble M12"

"But, what is it?"
"A Noble M12"

"Yeh, but what is it?"
"A Noble" (pointing to a clearly visible badge).

"Who makes it?"
"Noble"

"Yeh but who makes it?"
"Noble"

At which point I volunteer the following (before attempting to bite a chunk of my lip off!)...

"It's made by Noble,
its British from Leicestershire,
its an M12 GTO 3R
its very fast,
it has a Ford engine out of a Mondeo (yes I say this as I can't be bothered to explain that it isn't!!!)
it goes on race-tracks,
No, its not old,

- do you like it?"
