Hi, I'm going to the Le Mans Moto GP. Will be travelling there on my bike and camping from Thurs to Mon. Never having been to Le Mans before, can anyone give me a good campsite to stay at close to the circuit?

Your ticket I think includes campsite access, but don't expect any sleep!

As hiccy says, the crowds were enormous last year and likely to be the same, so find somewhere quiet if you can, oir camp in a quieter part, it was bad enough at the car race!! Ear plugs a must

I've done the 24 hours car race a couple of times: you will not get much sleep wherever you camp!
Be super careful with valuables - I was ok, but I've heard many a horror story about thieving scumbags....

Cheers for the replies folks :-)

I've managed to book an apartment in the town, only downside is no parking.

I'm assuming there's plenty of transport from town to the track?

Trams go to the circuit, easy walk in from there. Clean, fast, efficient. We use them when we do Friday nights in town as part of annual 24hr trip.

It is the highest attended MGP round currently, so expect a LOT of people. Last time I went to MGP there was 10yrs ago and it was busy enough then and a great event.
