Rider "failed to stop" for unmarked police motorcycle
Discussion
Hypothetical situation.
Rider is on a brand new bike so riding like miss daisy and a bike comes up behind with all the blues and twos on. Rider was near a police station so just continued at the speed limit as they are convinced they are about to get jumped. Police bike did pulls up beside them a few times, motioning to pull over, but there was no obvious sign they were a cop.
Google says "If a car or bike is flashing for you to pull over or stop is unmarked, unless you are certain it is the police, do not stop. Drive steadily to the nearest public place e.g. a petrol station where they are open till late, a police station or somewhere there are a lot of people, and then stop".
I have seen unmarked police bikes and it very difficult to ascertain if they are genuine.
So in a real world situation has any experienced this?

So what about the police livery on the bike? Does the rider not also wear/display lots of elements indicating they’re a police officer in your scenario? Or are you suggesting plain clothes, non-liveried bike albeit with lights and sirens?
Unmarked is what poster says, have another read of the OP.nismocat said:

BRIEFLY:
A police officer in uniform may require the driver/rider of a motor vehicle to stop.
Drivers/riders of motor vehicle must conform to the directions of a police officer, whether or not in uniform, for the time being engaged in the regulation of traffic. Whether or not this includes stopping is contentious. There is/used to be stated cases both ways.
There has been at least two cases where a member of the public has given directions to the driver of a car who has ignored them and continued driving. In both cases, the driver was reported and convicted of carless driving.
The really fascinating bit is what constitutes a uniform. Most forces define what a police officer should wear for certain duties and situations. These vary widely. It can, in certain circumstances, be nothing more that a hat with 'Police' on it.
It is difficult/impossible to give specifics in many instances as uniform, engaged in the regulation of traffic, and directions by other than police officers is to be proved in the trial.
There are many cases which have gone to court where the is, apparently, a clear breach of the law, but the 'offender' has been found NG.

I did recently see a video (instagram or youtube) where a policeman was saying you have to stop for unmarked bikes and explaining the law. Loads of the comments underneath were all from people saying that's how you get bike-jacked and things like that so i guess its not just the OP thats wondering. Earthdweller said:

I suppose it would depend on the exact situation.
If I was doing something particularly naughty at the time which any right minded officer would pull me for, I’d pull over. If I was in a dodgy area and not doing anything wrong, I’d be inclined to indicate I’d seen the bike whether that be flash of hazards or a wave but made sure I pulled up somewhere well lit and populated or headed for the nearest Police Station.
Ideal option would be to ring 111 or 999 and double check but that can be easier said than done depending on what kit you have on the bike.
