Trustworthy courier wanted

Hi Guys, anyone know of a decent courier that i can trust, i want some car memorabillia that i've sold taken down to the buyer in Belgium from where i live in Sevenoaks in Kent. Not that keen on using Parcelforce or DHL as i've heard some nightmare stories about items being lost or damaged.

Nip over yourself on a cheap ferry/tunnel and have a short break if it's that valuable..

Agree with this. You're not that far from the tunnel/ports, so combine it with a day trip/weekend break. Off peak travel may mean you could do it for £100-£150 including fuel. You could get the buyer to meet you if they are too far into deepest darkest Belgium.

If you look at the internet for long enough you will see nightmare stories for absolutely everything in life. Any courier comes with a risk so take it yourself if it's uninsurable.

Indeed. Especially as the OP is the seller, what's it matter if it gets broken on the way to the new owner, you were getting rid of it anyway? Insurance can refund the buyer.

If the buyer doesn't want the risk of damage they can come and collect it.

Also. I'm sure that if packaged well enough then even the most hamfisted of courier can be accounted for. And add some additional labeling so the package can be manually processed if the automated systems fail to route it.

by courier, is the buyer aware of the extra tax they will have to pay as coming from outside the EU? yeah, take it yourself, see if Spa is near for a visit and have a different weekend.
