Hi all

I'm after a mid to large sized quality petrol automatic estate car, I've seen Toyota Avensis which looks about right but wondered if their are better options out there priced between £3 - £6k?

Thanks in advance

Mondeos are usually pretty good bets aren’t they?

Whenever I’ve driven them (admittedly never driven this later version) they handle really well considering the size of them too. I’m not keen on the Sony head units of that era - the one I had in my 2014 focus was really frustrating to use.

Plenty of space (even the Focus estate has a lot of boot space, but the boot looks bloody enormous on this Mondeo!

Edit - sorry I misread the budget and looked for £6-8k
Still a Mondeo at £6k should be alright, but maybe one with the older style auto gearbox rather than the power shift (which apparently is not the most resilient gearbox?)

I paid £5.2k recently for a Skoda superb estate and am very happy with both the spec and the quality of it.
