Hi. Am looking seriously at one of these, mk2 R Design with a great spec that we like, 50k miles. Wondered if anyone had any experiences on reliability or if/how to add an extended warranty? I have never done so before (200’0’s BMWs, Porsches and Audis) but this would be first foray into hybrid. It drove lovely, pretty quick and nice ride on the air suspension. My concern is 2017 is early on in the mk2 making this one of the earlier T8 twin engines. Maybe am overthinking it but any intel warmly received. Thanks in advance!

Have a look on the Volvo forums uk. The twin engine versions can have issues with the electric motor units and are expensive to replace.

As per Darren, until a month ago we had a 2014 XC60 R Design D5 (previous generation), I joined the FaceBook XC60 Forum where there was a lot of help and advice available.
From a lot of postings the infotainment was a lot better on the Pre-2020/1 models.

One of the few marque specific forums that's still quite active.

Probably a symptom of the demographics.
