New programme started tonight.

Somewhat in the style of Mr T. This is an autistic woman working in the police records department.

Watchable. Is it slow moving? Or is that deliberate to perversely keep our attention.

It finally came to me (without using IMDb!) who the lead lady detective is: Lydia from Madrigal out of Breaking Bad smile Scottish, but flawless US accent in that, flawless southeast England accent in this

Just started watching, enjoyed so far.
If anyone is enjoying this I would recommend giving Astrid on Walter presents/ all 4 a try, very similar.

It is the same, Just given a UK slant. Have to say the French Version (Astrid, in Paris) is far superior. The lass who plays Astrid (Sara Mortensen) plays the Autistic lead brilliantly.

Storyline from the first Astrid : Mr Lenoire, Member of the European Parliament, withdraws 8000 euros from his bank and deposits the envelope with the money in a bin. In a car park he burns himself to death. Raphaëlle Coste is the police in charge of the investigation. She meets by chance Astrid Nielsen, a worker in the police files department who is a little different in her behaviour.—

I have watched 2 episodes so far and sort of enjoyed it. I say sort of as it felt like there was 10-15 minutes missing from the second episode.

Will watch more of it though and see how it progresses.

It is watchable tosh. I will watch more.

I'm 4 episodes in and although I like it, it's getting a bit repetitive. I read that the actress Ella Maisy Purvis, who plays Patience, is autistic, which probably explains why she plays the role so well. Also, Laura Fraser is a much underrated actor, in my opinion.

We enjoyed the first series and were pointed towards Astrid and Raphaelle and have worked our way through all the series of that and adored it. I fear we might be disappointed by Patience now but we'll give it a go,

I found Astrid et Raphaelle to be hugely irritating because of the way that they portrayed Astrid. After 5 series and 41 episodes her ticks seemed to get worse and worse as time progressed. Patience on the other hand is subtle.

I think it's run its course and something started to get a little ridiculous but I enjoyed how they both learnt from each other, I fear just calling the British one Patience suggests it's just about her.
