Just started watching, enjoyed so far.
If anyone is enjoying this I would recommend giving Astrid on Walter presents/ all 4 a try, very similar.
It is the same, Just given a UK slant. Have to say the French Version (Astrid, in Paris) is far superior. The lass who plays Astrid (Sara Mortensen) plays the Autistic lead brilliantly. If anyone is enjoying this I would recommend giving Astrid on Walter presents/ all 4 a try, very similar.
Storyline from the first Astrid : Mr Lenoire, Member of the European Parliament, withdraws 8000 euros from his bank and deposits the envelope with the money in a bin. In a car park he burns himself to death. Raphaëlle Coste is the police in charge of the investigation. She meets by chance Astrid Nielsen, a worker in the police files department who is a little different in her behaviour.—

We enjoyed the first series and were pointed towards Astrid and Raphaelle and have worked our way through all the series of that and adored it. I fear we might be disappointed by Patience now but we'll give it a go,
I found Astrid et Raphaelle to be hugely irritating because of the way that they portrayed Astrid. After 5 series and 41 episodes her ticks seemed to get worse and worse as time progressed. Patience on the other hand is subtle.RustyMX5 said:
