It’s on now.
Anyone else fascinated by these events of long ago ?
I have my own opinions of his guilt or not.

Yeah, it's very fascinating.

The problem is Essex police have hidden evidence.

Must admit I can't imagine Sheila over-powering Neville?

I can't comment on guilt because I don't know the story well enough or kept up with developments over the years, but my (now deceased) grandmother was friendly with June. The whole family were basket cases according to her. Lots of personal issues between them.

A jury found him very guilty, at least 4 appeals to overturn his conviction have been rejected, no serious new evidence that would point to his innocence has been found.

He has served 37 years, with no prospect of being released Bamber and his "happy to help" lawyers just spend time wasting tax-payers money commonly known as Legal Aid putting forward pointless appeals against his whole life tarriff.

I've always thought it was Jeremy Bamber.

Given that his sister died from two gunshots to the head, either of which was likely fatal, I'm intrigued how she could have shot herself twice, which is rather where Bamber's "my sister did it in a murder/suicide" claim rather falls apart.

That, plus her not being able to reach the trigger of the rifle with the silencer fitted, rather undoes his claims.

Range Rovers and swimming pools, presumably. Other conspiracy theories are available.

She didn’t die from “ two .22 rounds to the head “ The “ firearms expert “ stated that one shot was to her throat at a straight angle, this shot would not have been fatal. The other shot, went in under her chin, traveled upwards into her brain. This one would have been fatal. People have shot themselves by using their toe on the trigger.

If you look at Michael Stone's case you will quickly learn juries sometimes have no clue. And appeals aren't much better.

You must have realised by now many professions don't like to admit when they're wrong.

(Michael Stone is literally 0% guilty of the murders he was imprisoned for)

It's been a few years since I read/watched this case but I recall there was a lot of incredibly unprofessional/questionable behaviour on the part of Essex Police.

Stone is highly likely to be guilty of murders he isn't in jail for, he's a nasty scrote, and everyone is safer while he's behind bars.

“ Masses of Evidence that was withheld “ ……
“ At the time of his 1986 trial AND his later appeals.
This absolutely stinks.

I have been on the receiving end of their utter incompetence on 4 separate occasions…..

There are plenty of cases where every document and piece information isn't released. That doesn't prove or disprove anything. There has to be sufficient new evidence to allow the formal appeal process.

After 30+years and numerous failures in appeals, we are at the 'well, it could've been aliens stage'.

The how and why is clear and compelling.

Evidence is supposed to be provided to the Defence prior to trial... otherwise how can a trial be fair?
